Tile Installation

Trust us with your installation!

Installing tile or stone as a DIY project is possible, but we highly recommend hiring a professional to do the job. That’s because tile and stone installations can be very complex and labor intensive, requiring specialized tools and materials. If you trust us with your tile installation, we'll make sure the job is done efficiently!

Preparing for your installation

We'll first send out a professional to measure the room or rooms, check if there's anything that might impact the installation, and then determine how much tile is needed for the job. The room will need to be emptied completely. Your previous flooring will need to be removed, and we'll let you know what we recommend or how we'll handle this. We'll then make sure your subfloor is flat, clean, and ready for tile.

During and after the installation

A member of your household who is at least 18 years old should be available to greet the installation crew and show them the work area. For everyone’s safety and to help the project go smoothly, keep children and pets away from the work area until the job is done. Feel free to ask your lead installer any questions you might have about the finished product and get recommendations for resuming the use of your newly tiled rooms.

Our installers will cut or trim the tiles, and spread mortar and grout as they lay the tile. New tile needs time to cure and solidify, so you'll want to stay off of your flooring for around 48 hours after the job is done. Although the installation process can be noisy, messy, lengthy, and inconvenient, the end result will be well worth it!
